VisiTec- 800 Series Blister Fill Inspection System for Uhlmann UPS

One of Pakistan’s top pharmaceutical manufacturers needed to have an online blister fill inspection system installed on your Uhlmann UPS blister machine. The goal was to have 100% and reliable quality control of the blister packs being manufactured without human intervention. The blisters were to be inspected for: • Missing tablets • Broken tablets • Cracked tablets • Oversized / Undersized tablets • Foreign objects We offered them VisiTec-830, our flagship camera-based inspection system which fulfilled their requirements, This system had an inspection speed of more than 300 blisters/min (more than 40,000 tablets/min) and had a pneumatic blow-type rejection system to throw the faulty blisters out of line after being cut. After the installation and successful commissioning of the system, the client had been able to completely eliminate the manual inspection process of the blisters and linked up the blister machine with an automatic cartoner which ref;ects their full confidence in the automated inspection.
